Data Explained | Why can't I backfill my LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram Follower datasets?

Unlike other ChannelMix datasets, Follower datasets for LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram cannot be backfilled. We are unable to get historical follower data from the API. 

Therefore, we will only have follower data for these platforms from the day you connect onward. Likewise, if we lose a connection, and it is not reconnected the same day you are notified, we will not be able to backfill any of the days where we did not have a valid connection. 

Is there an alternative solution?

Yes! If you provide a file with follower data by day, we can add it to your dataset.
