Keys | Importing the Keys Default Configuration
Importing a default configuration is the easiest way to get started with ChannelMix Keys capability. To begin the process, first you go to the ChannelMix login screen and sign in with your username and password.
Next, you get to choose the client you want to onboard. On the left menu of the control center, you will notice the Keys Admin option. This is where you’ll start your onboarding process.
The default Field hierarchy in Keys is Campaign, Subcampaign, Source. Your Source list will be empty for now. Sources for the default configuration will be automatically added after you’ve completed the import.
So now, in order to bring in a default configuration, click on the ChannelMix Standard Configuration then click on the Keys Starter Kit. Click import.
You will notice that ChannelMix will show you a warning message that you’re about to overwrite any existing configurations. Not to worry! If this is your first time setting up Keys, go ahead and click yes that you want to confirm. (Note: please contact your CSM if you have already configured a custom Keys configuration before importing.)
Once you have completed the import, you should be able to see Keys Admin populate with the default sources for this configuration. You will also see that the Campaign, Subcampaign and Source fields have been updated with the default settings that are appropriate for the starter kit.
And there you go, it’s as simple as that!
