Twitter | Upload | Twitter Organic Tweets Dataset
<! -- ChannelMix Monitor Blue Paper --> <! -- GA4 User Guide --> <! -- Keys User Guide -->
With the emergence of Twitter's increased API access fees, ChannelMix has created this dataset in order to provide an alternative to an API connection. The Twitter user interface allows for two different types of files to be exported for tweet information, one aggregated daily and another aggregated per tweet per day. This dataset is designed to handle either file, but not both, dynamically. Including both types of files in the same dataset would result in duplicated data. Twitter also allows for a "video activity metrics" file to be exported. See Twitter | Upload | Twitter Media Dataset for how to upload this data. The OneViews and Dashboards are configured to allow this dataset to exist alongside v_twitter_tweet (the dataset pulling data from the API) without duplicating data.
This dataset is mirrored after the fields used in the ChannelMix OneViews and Dashboards, so it will not include every field from the files downloaded from Twitter, but rather those that are necessary to the functionality of the OneViews and Dashboards. Further customization may be needed to align the dataset to your reporting needs. Any dimensions that are not pulled will display "Not Available" as their values. Please submit a ticket to the Platform Support team for customization.
This dataset cannot be activated automatically. Please submit a ticket to the Platform Support team to activate this dataset.
