Below are the measures and dimensions ChannelMix considers standard for the Twitter Mentions dataset. This dataset only provides data for your tweets that have been mentioned and the API will only allow us to pull the last 800 mentions from the time the data was pulled, so it is possible that you won't receive all data even when it is pulled on a regular cadence. As a result, discrepancies could be commonplace if this data was relied upon heavily. ChannelMix suggests using Twitter | Tweet Standard Dataset and Twitter | Upload | Twitter Organic Tweets Dataset instead.
Due to API restrictions on the amount of tweets that can be pulled each day, we will only be pulling data for the previous day daily. This API restriction is also the reason that backfills can only be ran for the current day in the ChannelMix Control Center.
NOTE: As of June 1, 2023, Twitter Organic datasets are not activatable in ChannelMix due to policies enforced by Twitter related to the number of tweets that can be pulled and increased API access fees. Currently, there is no standard file upload alternative defined for this dataset.
This dataset cannot be activated automatically. Please talk to your Client Success Manager about obtaining access.
