File Upload | Troubleshooting

My File isn't uploading

• Check your field mappings and data types. Are they producing any errors?
• Check your file type. Ensure that you are using a CSV file. 
• Check your tabs. File Upload will only upload the first tab in your Excel file. 
• Empty CSV files will not upload.

File Columns Troubleshooting

Uploading a CSV file through the Library refresh page with columns that differ from your original file will result in the following: 

• Columns not in the original file will be ignored. 
• Reordered columns will not cause an issue.  

Maximum File Size

The maximum file size is 250,000 rows. 

ChannelMix System Fields

ChannelMix adds a few standard fields to all of our datasets. If you name a field in your data with the same name, ChannelMix will automatically add an underscore to the beginning of your field. These standard fields include the following: 

• application_display_name
• application_id
• client_id
• analytics_type_id
• insert_date
