ChannelMix File Upload

(status)Establish your Connection

  1. Navigate to https://app.channelmix.com/.
  2. Navigate to the "Connect" page.
  3. Find the "File Upload" icon and click it. 
  4. Add a new Connection.
  5. Name your new dataset.
  6. Click Submit
  7. Associate your upload to the appropriate ChannelMix Profile. 
  8. Click "Save and Activate Dataset".

  1. Click "Browse files" or drag and drop your file onto the screen.
  2. Click "Continue" once your file loads. 
  3. Review your Data Types. The system will automatically suggest a recommended data type. Review the suggestions to ensure there are no errors. 
  4. Select your key. Learn more about keys here: File Upload | What is a Key?.
  5. Unselect any columns you do not wish to include. 
  6. Click "Continue." 
  7. Review for any errors. The errors that appear will be highlighted for easy review.
    • If you need to fix any errors, hit the "Back" button in the bottom left corner. 
  8. Click "Submit."

  1. Navigate to the library page. 
  2. Find your upload file name (use the drop-down menu to filter to only File Uploads).
  3. Click the icon below the file name. 
  4. Click the Action icon on the library flyout on the right. 
  5. Click "Browse files" or drag and drop your file onto the screen.
    • You may also download your template here if you need a reminder of your column names.
  6. Click "Connect".
  7. Review your fields and correct any mapping. 
  8. Click "Continue". 
  9. Review for any errors. The errors that appear will be highlighted for easy review.
    • If you need to fix any errors, hit the "Back" button on the bottom left corner. 
  10. Click "Submit."

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email once a dataset is activated through the connection page and when datasets are refreshed through the library page.
