Connection Authentication
The ChannelMix connection for Amazon Redshift uses ODBC. An example of the required connection information is in the image below:
Connecting to Redshift via KEY/Secret or IAM Roles is not currently supported.
Profile Association and Values
There are no profile values required for this source. After the connection is created, a ticket will be created so that a support team member can help complete the data connection and pull appropriate data into ChannelMix.
The support team member will ask for this information:
- Please specify the table/views that you would like to pull into ChannelMix.
- Please specify the frequency the data should be pulled/refreshed.
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Please specify the append/replace key for the datasets (what makes a unique record in the dataset?)
Required User Permission Levels
The connection will need to be setup with a user that has USAGE on the schema and SELECT on any objects that need to be pulled into ChannelMix.
