🔌Google Analytics | How to Connect
Connecting your Account
In order for ChannelMix to have access to your Google Analytics View (UA) or Property (GA4) data, you will first need to ensure that you're Google Account has access in the user interface. You're Google Analytics account needs at least "Viewer" level permission on the asset on which you wish to pull data. "Viewer" is currently the lowest level of permission in Google Analytics so if you can see the View or Property in the user interface then you should be good to go!
Connect your Profile
If you are connecting your UA account, please complete the first three fields from the screenshot below. If you are connecting GA4, please focus on the last three fields.
Universal Analytics
- UA-View - required for Google Analytics Universal datasets
- UA-Segment - This is the segment to use when requesting the dataset from Google Analytics. To learn more, visit Core Reporting API - Segments.
- UA-Filter - This is the filter to use when requesting the dataset from Google Analytics. To learn more, visit Core Reporting API - Reference Guide.
GA4
