🔌Google Drive | How To Connect

In order for Alight Analytics to pull data from a Google Drive folder you'll need to create a  connection within the Connect page of ChannelMix Control Center.  You'll do so using an Oauth process authorizing ChannelMix to pull from the folder where the file is located.  

Once you have created the connection there are a few additional steps: 

1. Share the folder with analytics@alightanalytics.com.
2. Gather the file path were the file is located on your Drive.  This will help the API calls run more efficiently when connecting to the Drive folder. 
3. Place an actual file or sample file in the Google Drive folder, so that we can confirm access and be able to use the file for dataset setup.

Once you have completed the connection creation and additional three steps above, please submit a Dataset Request.
