I'm not seeing a connector on the Connect page for a data source that my company uses. What's the best way to incorporate the data from this source into ChannelMix?
With new marketing sources entering the marketplace at a rapid pace, it is possible that an API connector to a source may not be available through ChannelMix. In order to get data into ChannelMix when there isn't a connector immediately available, our process is two-fold: What is the quickest possible way to get data into ChannelMix and is an API integration the best option? What is the quickest way to get data into ChannelMix?
API integrations typically require a longer initial timeline in order to get data into ChannelMix. Alternatively, ChannelMix has other ETL (extract, transform, load) processes that can help get data into ChannelMix while an API integration is researched. Alternative ETL processes include email, file upload, Google Drive, Google Sheets, S3 bucket and SFTP. We will work with you to establish the best alternative process to get data in to ChannelMix for you.
Is an API integration feasible?
APIs are all the rage, but will an API integration meet all your data needs? Maybe, but let's do some due diligence first.
