Data Explained | Salesforce | API Field Names
In order for ChannelMix to pull custom fields from Salesforce, you will need to provide the proper API names for them. The below information is from Salesforce documentation found here. on how to find the API names. Once located, please submit a ticket with the list of custom fields you would like added and also identify the dataset(s) you would like them added to.
Custom fields in Salesforce Classic
2. Go to App Setup | click Customize.
3. Locate the object the click Fields.
4. Look for "API Name" column value in "Custom Fields & Relationships" section
Custom Fields in Lightning Experience
1. Go to Setup.
2. Click Object Manager.
3. Locate and click the object.
4. In the sidebar, click Fields & Relationships.
5. Locate the field label.
6. Check the 'Field Name' column name value.
Custom objects in Salesforce Classic
1. Go to Setup.
2. Under "Build," click Create | Objects.
3. Click the object name, click Fields.
4. And check for "API name" column name value
Custom Object in Lightning Experience
1. Go to Setup.
2. Click Object Manager.
3. Locate the object name.
4. Check the 'API Name' column.
